I know everyone takes the piss out of the Stripey Nigels and their choreographed singing moves but they were loud compared to most away fans yesterday while we were silent and surly.
And swathes of our fans gave up and left very very early.
I often think our support is better in home games when we are well beaten and the real fans get behind the team in a lost cause.
There is no difference in noise when we have 25,000 in the ground compared to 35,000,

Balders 9.55 - that's about right. The Palace thing is all too self consciously, 'look at us aren't we great fans'. To me they just look like a collection of over excited schoolgirls at a hockey international, or the kind of cunts who used to cheer on Tiger Tim at wimbledon.

Away fans singing shock. The fact they also sing at home double shock. Our support is poor at home and average away. And too many people on here get misty eyed about our 'firm'. That's in the past. Palace are right, modern football is full of shit. Our lot just bitch and whine about it and then turn up to be set dressing for the 5 billion pound premier league. All the traditional areas of West Ham support in London have gone, we are now followed by Essex drips.
